Observation: Chef attempted to label sanitizer spray bottles, but was unable to keep labels affixed to the bottles.
Corrective Action(s): All spray bottles must be labelled to identify their contents in order to prevent accidental mixing and/or misuse of chemicals. Obtain labels from supplier to affix to bottles or obtain new bottles, where labels can be affixed securely.

Observation: Chef does not have valid FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training.
Corrective Action(s): Chef registered for online SafeCheck - FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent training. Chef will be completing course on February 24, 2020. Once Chef has successfully completed FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalency, send confirmation to the Environmental Health Officer.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to January 21, 2020.
-Temperature setting for the flat top has been increased and hot foods were greater than 60C.
-Equipment was found to be generally clean and sanitary. Ensure all equipment is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Did not observe any issues with hand hygiene at the time of inspection.
