HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 8
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): < 10 PPM chlorine residual detected in the sanitizer container.
Corrective Action(s): As per staff, the bleach sanitizer container was prepared this morning. However, container noted with 5+ wiping cloths and was slightly murky - the sanitizer might have been used up with all the wiping cloths in the container or have dispersed over time. Please do not have too many wiping cloths in the sanitizer container - either have less cloths or multiple containers and change out the solution every 2 - 4 hours or whenever it is noted to be overly soiled. Please use sanitizer test strips to verify that there is at least 100 - 200 PPM chlorine residual in the sanitizer container before use.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Debris and buildup still noted on the floor (corners below coolers and prep table).
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize all areas noted with debris.
Date to be corrected by: December 2, 2023 - to be evaluated during the next routine inspection
Violation Score: 3

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
Comments

Follow-up inspection conducted for report# KLAI-CXVRJV
Utensils were noted stored in an ice water bath during the inspection.
Ice scoop was being stored on a clean surface.
Did not observe cardboard being used as a liner at the facility.

Note: As per operator, the "leaking" below the ice bin is the drain for the ice bin. However, there should not be pooling water anywhere in the facility to avoid attracting and breeding pest.
