Corrective Action(s): All hand sinks shall be equipped with both hot and cold running water for handwashing purposes. Operator called portable washroom rental company at time of inspection for an immediate service request.

Observation: Wire racks in drink cooler across from hand sink in the bar is rusting due to worn out paint.
Corrective Action(s): Repaing the wire racks to make them smooth and easy to clean.

Observation: Single-use/disposable take out plastic containers used for reheating purposes during food preparation.
Corrective Action(s): Single-use/disposable take out containers are not meant to be used more than once as they are supposed to be discarded after each use. Single-use/disposable containers are also not meant to be cleaned or used to repeatedly reheat foods, as these actions can cause the plastic to deteriorate faster and make it harder to clean. Kitchen manager instructed kitchen staff to immediately discontinue repeated use of single-use/disposable containers. Switch to food-grade containers that can be repeatedly washed, re-used and reheated for food preparation purposes.

All coolers in the kitchen (walk-in and 2 preparation coolers) were 4 degrees Celsius or less.
All coolers in the bar area (two drink coolers and 1 stand up cooler) were 4 degrees Celsius or less.
The two freezers in the bar area were less than -10 degrees Celsius.
The stand up fridge/freezer in the servery was 4 degrees Celsius and -18 degrees Celsius respectively.
The walk in freezer was -12 degrees Celsius.
The hot holding unit in the kitchen was 60 degrees Celsius.
Food storage practices were satisfactory.
Organization of storage areas was satisfactory.
All hand sinks inside the premise and in the portable washroom were stocked with liquid soap and paper towels.
All sinks inside the premise (except washroom sinks) were equipped with hot and cold running water.
Staffs hygiene and food handling practices were satisfactory.

Chlorine sanitizer for in-use wiping cloths had a concentration of 200ppm.

Note: Operator is currently renovating the washrooms inside the premise, hence the use of the portable washrooms in the back parking lot. Operator has made a commitment that the renovations will be completed by the first week of December 2019.
