Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Water from floor splashed all direction in the back kitchen area. Food contact surfaces were visibly soiled.
Correction: All food contact surfaces on the premise (e.g., utensils, containers, equipment, etc.) are to be cleaned and sanitized. Correct this by: immediately.
Comments

-Walk-in freezer was at -13C.
-Sandwich cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Dairy dispensers (3 units) were at 4C.
-Under counter coolers were at 2C and 4C.
-Egg cooler was at 1C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Quats sanitizer was at 200ppm.
-Handwash stations were accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer pails changed every 2 hours and were at 200ppm. Pails are time labelled.
-Ice Capp attachments sanitized after each use.
-Mixing spoons stored in ice water.
-Vegetable slicer was soaking for cleaning and sanitizing at the time of inspection.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods were stored off the ground and protected from contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility is serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis. Last report indicated no past activity. No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection/
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until October 23, 2025.
