-Staff room has uniforms and washrooms with soap and paper towels. Uniforms washed by a service
-Hand sink with soap and paper towels @ sink at main entrance point for staff
-When entering facility - hair nets/beard nets/gloves & lab coats are worn before entering facility
-Sprouting room - handsink fully equipped, ensure nothing is in the sink to block access
-Peracid 150 used for kill step in sprouting. Fill with 200ppm or more (verify with test strips) logged on sanitation log kept in sprouting room. Then held for 5 mins and rinsed for 10 mins or until test strip shows less than 80ppm
-Chloro potassium hydroxide and sodium (ECT 774) hypochlorite mixed 1 in 40 - sprayed on and let sit 5 mins then rinsed - planning to use foamer in the future
-Sanitation log kept on site at germination station
-Antimicrobial concentration is logged
-Bait boxes and fly lights throughout facility, no pests noted at time of inspection
-Cleaning & sanitizing of packaging equipment is done by vacuum or air after each type of product. 70% alcohol wipe is used. When moving between an allergen or conventional (non-organic) product.
-Scoops are washed as needed, in the two compartment sinks in the sprouting room for regular non-gluten free items. Gluten free scoops and equipment is washed and sanitized in the 2 compartment sink in the gluten free room. Sanitizer is Peracid 150 which scoops are soaked in, in the second compartment.
-Gluten free room, separate from rest of plant, 2 dedicated handsinks that are fully equipped with soap and paper towels and a log for people coming and going. Aprons are also worn in this room.
