308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)] Observation: Grease trap lid rusted. Observed gap in lid. Smelled sewer off-gases. Likely gases passing through grease trap and into working environment. Air/gases seems to accumulate in back corner. May be an issue for staff. Discussed with staff and the trap was cleaned September 23, 2023. Already a work order in for lid gasket replacement. Corrective Action(s): Develop a plan for lid replacement. Make sure lid is securely fastened and odours are controlled once gasket installed. make sure grease trap is cleaned out on regular intervals. Violation Score: 3
