Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] (Small handwashing station near ice machine area was filled with miscellaneous items and obstructed by mixer. No liquid soap present either. )
Comments

-Pest Control Technician has been on-site. Report shown at the time of the inspection. Traps are present. **Email copy pest control contract and next service report to Env. Health Officer.
-Droppings have been cleaned up. Continue to monitor for further activity and immediately clean and sanitize areas if additional droppings noted.
-Additional shelving units have been added to ensure floor is kept clear to facilitate cleaning and monitoring. Overall sanitation has improved.
-Holes have been filled with steel wool. Continue to identify and address any holes or gaps that could allow pest entry or harbourage.
-Handsink at back counter is now accessible. Mixer has been moved. This sink is a designated handsink and must be accessible equipped with liquid soap and paper towel. The sink near the cake preparation area is intended for food preparation rather than handwashing. Ensure all staff are trained on which sink to use for which purpose.
-Garbage bags are no longer being used to cover cakes. Food grade wrap is being used.
