Introduction

A routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).

The following areas were reviewed for compliance:
· Physical facility
· Health and hygiene systems
· Children’s files – emergency contacts
· Staffing

COVID-19 prevention strategies were reviewed and discussed.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

During this inspection, there were 2 children and 1 staff present. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

The LO met with the manager and discussed the following:
· Sanitization systems
· Handwashing
· Drop-off/pick-up procedures
· Availability of cleaning supplies and paper products


The following resources were provided to the manager:
· BCCDC COVID-19
· How to be a Germ Fighter
· How to sneeze / How to cough
· Safe and Healthy diapering
· COVID-19 Fraser Health Wash Often!
· How to wash your hands like mom is watching

This inspection report was discussed with the manager and copy was emailed to the facility on April 17, 2020.
