Premises currently offering microblading service. General sanitation is good. Handwashing stations are satisfactory. Consent forms and after care information are available for clients. Skin antiseptic is available. Low level disinfectant is available (Preempt) to clean general surfaces such as beds. Disposable paper liners are available for the bed. Isopropyl alcohol is available to clean the tattoo machine. Proposal to provide tattooing is permitted. Machine used is Bishop (rotary machine). Tips, tubes, grips and needles are disposable. Ink caps are disposable. Disposal wraps are available to cover the machine and cord. Please update your infection control procedure to include tattooing and email to me. Use the foldable table to provide additional counter space next to the two compartment sink for cleaning purpose. Ensure that if dressing used on the skin after tattooing is individually packaged sterilized. The following information is needed for reviewing the proposal to provide eyelash extension: - what tools will touch the clients - what disinfection procedures will be used for reusable tools (i.e., tweezers) - what tools are disposable. Infection control procedure for lash extension also needs to be included. Erect a partition to separate lash procedure area from tattooing area.
