Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Sanitizer spray bottle was inaccessible and stored under the sink at the time of inspection.
2) Coffee steaming attachment not properly sanitized after each use. Staff stated towel is soaked in bleach sanitized, stored on a plated and changed hourly. Towel is used to wipe the steaming attachment.
3) Blender container not sanitized after 2 hours of continuous use.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Ensure bleach sanitizer is located in an accessible area to allow staff to properly sanitize food contact surfaces.
2) Coffee steaming attachment must be sanitized after each use with a food grade sanitizer (200ppm Quats or 100ppm bleach).
3) Blender containers must be properly sanitized after each use, or after 2 hours of continuous use.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash station did not have any single use paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must be accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Single use paper towels were replaced at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff member observed constantly scratching her head and making beverages throughout the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Staff must adhere to good hand hygiene practices and properly wash hands after they become potentially contaminated - or avoid scratching head while preparing foods.

Observation: Rodent droppings were observed in the cabinet beneath the coffee grinder area.

-Under counter freezer was at -15C.
-Temperatures checked and recorded daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Ice machine clean and sanitary. Scoop stored in a sanitary manner.
-Bakery items protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until March 31, 2024.
