Observation: A small amount of rodent droppings were observed on the floor near the backdoor corner. A few fruit flies were observed at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the above-noted area to remove the rodent droppings; Correct today. Monitor for signs of recent pest activity and continue with your integrated pest control measures: keeping the facility clean, checking received goods, keeping the doors shut between use, sealing any potential entry points, keeping food covered and stored off the floor, regular waste removal, and continuing with the pest control program services. Blue fly light was available near the back storage area. Most recent pest control service for the flylight and tin cats was provided on August 3, 2022 based on the pest control report.

Comments

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Proper handwashing practices were observed at the time of inspection.
Walk-in-cooler was at or below 4 degrees C (measured at 1 degrees C).
Pizza toppings in the inserts of the prep. cooler were at or below 4 degrees C.
Lower component of pizza prep. cooler was at or below 4 degrees C (measured at -4.5 degrees C).
Both beverage coolers and small cooler were at or below 4 degrees C.
Probe thermometer was available.
Temperature records and cleaning records were being maintained.
Food storage areas were maintained in a clean condition.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available inside a labelled spray bottle and third compartment sink unit.
3-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water.
Pest control program was in place on a monthly basis via Orkin.
Manager with valid FOODSAFE Level 1 training (expiration date: October 5, 2024) was present on shift.
Revised sanitation plan has been received for health approval.
