Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A half-cut banana was stored uncovered in the dry storage shelf area.
Corrective Action(s): Staff discarded the cut banana immediately after it was brought to their attention. Ensure all stored foods are covered and protected from contamination. Note: cut fruits such as bananas are considered potentially hazardous foods and must be stored at 4C or less.
