Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standard of Practice (DOLSOP). All eight care categories were assessed for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection:
At the inspection dated December 4, 2023, there were 5 children in care with one staff member.
At this inspection, no contraventions were identified. No further action is required by Licensing or by the Licensee.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. A copy of the report and the corresponding Risk Assessment was emailed to the Manager.
The following items were discussed:
-Setting up the programs before children are picked up.
-The designated room is being used by the school for the next three weeks. The manager will plan to licensing detailing the alternate care location in the school.
Additional Information:
This report was written off site and unsigned. The summary items were discussed with the Manager before Licensing's departure.
