Observation: The following areas still require cleaning: lower surfaces of air drying shelving units, upper storage shelf, floor between equipment on the cook line, and inside of cabinet below the slushy machine.
Corrective Action(s): Clean the above noted areas; Correct by July 16, 2021. Operator stated he has called a cleaning company/personnel to perform the cleaning in the above noted hard to reach areas. Contact the district Environmental Health Officer for a follow up inspection once the cleaning has been completed for the above noted areas.

Comments

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels. Handsinks were accessible for handwashing.
2-compartment sink was empty at the time of inspection. Dishwashing was not occurring at the time of inspection. Manual ware-washing signs were posted as reminders to wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry preparation utensils.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available inside four labelled spray bottles.
Cleaning improvements were made to both ventilation hood panels and wall near the 2-compartment sink.
Aluminum foil liner was removed from the sweets prep. cooler.
Food was covered in food grade materials (saran wraps or lids) inside the the walk-in-cooler.
Potentially hazardous food was not being left out at room temperature.
Operator stated he has spoken with his staff for more of them to enroll into the FOODSAFE Level 1 course. Ensure to continue to maintain copies of FOODSAFE Level 1 certificates for staff on-site.
