Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cut raw lettuce, tomatoes and packets of cheese stored on ice at the burger station measured with an internal temperature of 19C. Observed only the bottom section of the insert is in contact with ice. Manager stated food are prepared less than 2 hours.
Corrective Action(s): Staff must ensure inserts with food are immersed in ice bath properly. Increase the level of ice to ensure bottom and sides of the inserts are immersed in ice bath.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Drive through hand washing station was missing single-use paper towels for hand drying.
2. Hot water had been turned off for the hand washing station located inside staff washroom. Manager stated the water was too hot and called plumber for this issue. Small amount of leak observed from the faucet.
Corrective Action(s): All washrooms must be provided with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels to facility staff hand hygiene. Do not turn off any hot water faucet as it is required for proper hand washing.

Observation: Fruit flies observed at the front hand washing station near the cash register and near the mop sink inside the dry storage room.
Corrective Action(s): Contact professional pest control and follow their instruction on proper remediation procedures. Correct by: Jul 1, 2021

- Coolers (walk-in, milk, beverage, blizzard, smoothies) maintained at 4C or less.
- Cake and walk-in freezer maintained at 18C or less.
- Hot food hot held above 60C.
- Other hand washing stations provided with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200 ppm quaternary ammonium sanitizer available in pails and from the dispenser.
- High temperature dishwasher registered 72C at plate level.
- Storage practices satisfactory.
- Ice machine and vegetable cutter maintained in sanitary conditions.
- General sanitation satisfactory.
- No pest activities observed at the time.

*Temperature records for coolers and freezers not maintained. Ensure to maintain temperature records on a daily basis.

- Facility does not have a valid Covid19 Safety Plan and daily health checks are not being recorded. Both in contravention of Provincial Health Officer's Order.
