Comments

At the inspection dated May 5, 2020 there was 1 child and 1 staff present. There were no contraventions identified during today's inspection. As part of this routine inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed and a copy is provided.

Licensing reviewed with the Licensee their cleaning, and sanitization procedures, and the implementation of the facility's sick policy. Licensing provided to and reviewed with the Licensee the Fraser Health resource entitled "Resource Package for Childcare Facilities COVID 19 Prevention".

In discussion with the Licensee the topic of maintenance of the flooring and outdoor fencing were explored. The flooring is starting to show signs of wear in areas and it is recommended that the Licensee monitor this issue and address if it becomes a tripping hazard or becomes porous the Licensee will need to repair or replace the flooring. The fencing by the front gate has become loose and the Licensee has a plan in place to secure the fencing and it will be completed in the next few months. Please check and maintain the physical premises, both indoors and outdoors, on a regular basis to address issues while they can be readily addressed. Neither of these issues were posing a health or safety risk during the inspection however they should be addressed before it becomes an issue.

This inspection was reviewed with the Licensee at the time of the inspection. This report and the Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed off site (time spent .25) and a copy of these documents were sent to the Licensee.
