Corrective Action(s): Goggles are considered Semi-critical items and High-Level Disinfection is required.

If the manufacture does not recommend the use of a high level disinfectant, contact the manufacture to determine if there would be a negative impact by using the high level disinfectant and how often they should replace the eyewear – OR – alternatively switch to
another appropriate google that is not negatively impacted by the high level disinfectant.

Routine Inspection

Waxing:
Wax pot in a clean condition.
Wax sticks and strips are single-use.
Waxing bed lined with single use paper and bed disinfected with 70% iso-propyl alcohol.

Haircutting:
Barbicide available.
Backflow preventer installed at hair washing sink.

Facials:
Semi critical items disinfected with high-level disinfectant (Pre-Empt CS-20, expiry: November 2022).
Ensure sink is not obstructed when this room is in use.

Laser Hair Removal:
DermaLase IPL machine has an active Health Canada licence. Machine can provide skin rejuvenation and laser hair removal services.
Emergency shut-off switch available.
Laser wand disinfected with intermediate level disinfectant (70% isopropyl alcohol).

Eyebrow Tinting:
RefecetoCil used - product labelling meet Health Canada requirements.

General
Facility kept in a clean condition.
Laundry on site - use the hottest setting.
