Complaint:

On May 28, 2018 the complainant observed a group of people that had brought their dog in the premise and had it sitting on top of the table. The dog was not a service animal. The complainant brought the concerns up to the team lead at the Tim Hortons who agreed that it was not a sanitary practice, but did not ask the customers to remove the dog from the table/premise, nor did they sanitize the table after customers had left.

Food Premise Regulation/B.C. Reg. 210/99; Division 7 - Miscellaneous; Animals S. 25 (1),(2), (a):

25 (1) Subject to subsection (2), an operator of food premises must not permit live animals to be on the premises.
(2) An operator of food premises may permit the following animals on the premises:
(a) a guide animal but not in any area of the premises in which food is prepared, processed or stored;

Also, the complainant is address the washroom issue. People with disability cannot get in the washroom because no special devises that will open a door or buzz the staff.

Discuss the issues with Bob, the assistant manager on site;
