Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Staff unable to properly demonstrate wash and sanitizing procedure of food contact surfaces as the one available drain plug does not effectively plug the sink and keep the solution in the 3rd compartment long enough to properly soak. Utensils and food contact surfaces must be soaked at least 30 seconds in 200ppm quat sanitizer. No test strips available for testing sanitizer concentration
2) Quat spray bottle at front measured above 500ppm quats
Corrective Action(s): 1) Obtain proper drain plugs for wash and sanitize compartment of sink. Obtain test strips to test sanitizer concentration. Borrow tim horton's 3rd compartment sink or keep the sanitizer solution dispenser constantly running to ensure adequate contact time until proper drain plugs are obtained.
2)Refill quat sanitizer bottle to ensure 200ppm.

Observation: Black garbage bags used to line the shelves in the back of the walk-in cooler. This is not a easily cleanable surface.
Corrective Action(s): Remove black garbage bags and ensure the surfaces of the shelves are smooth, durable, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable. Date to be corrected: 2 days

-Hot holding units measured 60C or above: 2 case units at front, chili and cheese unit by condiment
-Temperature logs maintained and provided

-General sanitation satisfactory
-No signs of pest during inspection
-Ensure one employee has a valid food safe level 1 certificate at all times. One employee produced safecheck certificate at time of inspection

Note: covid 19 plan in place and developed. Ensure hand sanitizer is near the slurpee and all self service stations. Updated provincial health officer order provided.
