Introduction

A routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP) The following areas were reviewed for compliance: · Physical facility · Health and hygiene systems

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

During this inspection, there were 4 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee included here. The Infant Toddler Room and Group CC (30 mos - SA) rooms were closed since March of 2020 and the license was amended to add a small room to provide Multi Age Care. The Licensee has requested an amendment to their facility license to accommodate the reopening The Infant Toddler and to relocate the Multi Age Care group to another designated classroom. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The Licensing Officer met with the manager and discussed the following: Replace expired emergency supplies Secure or lock cupboards in the proposed Group CC (under 36 month group) Prior to reopening the classrooms post all certificates required such as staff certificates and updated facility license This report was prepared off site and a copy will be provided to the program manager via email.
