Services: nails (acrylic and gel nails, manicure, pedicure, foot bath, callus removal), esthetics (eyelash and brow tinting, waxing, facial), eyelash extensions.
Business does NOT provide any non-registered massage or permanent make up (tattooing).
Fraser Health approval is required before adding any additional services.

Nails:
- Critical items - credo/pedicure blade is single use only (not re-used) and is disposed of into a sharps container available near clean up sink.
- Semi critical items (cuticle nippers, pushers, nail clippers, etc.) require high level disinfection - none available - see above.
- Single use (disposable items) - foam toe separators are single use, single use foam emery boards - see above re drill bit sanding bands.
- Foot bath - a disposable plastic liner is used (good) and after liner is discarded, foot bath is cleaned and disinfected prior to using a new liner (use 20 mL chlorine bleach in 1 liter water).
- Foot bath impeller is not used.
- Callus removal - using a pumice stone or porous callus pad (single client - clients take home) - *** Note that these should be single use (discarded after each use) as they are porous and cannot be cleaned and disinfected.
- No ingrown nail treatment (sends to physician).
Esthetics:
- Eyelash and brow tints - labelled professional use only - good.
- Smooth stones - clean and disinfect (using bleach) after each use.
Waxing:
- Single use waxing strips and wooden spatulas.
- Wax appears clean today.
- No removal of ingrown hairs.
Eyelash Extensions:
- Training - eyelash extensions can only be provided by person with training (operator AN).
- Eyelash glue appears to have proper Health Canada labelling.
- Tweezers - use the high level disinfectant as described above as these are used around the eyes and are semi critical items.
- Sink in room has hot/cold water, liquid soap, and single use hand drying towels.
- Room cleaning - see above.
General:
- Hand washing sink and clean up sink in main nail salon area.
- Esthetics room has hand sink.
- Hand sinks have hot/cold water, liquid soap, and single use hand drying towels.
- Washroom - for clients and staff.
- On site laundry - using bleach. Use hot dry for drying linens and towels.
- Esthetics room has a carpet for standing on - recommend a washable mat rather than a carpet.
- Cleaning - see above.
- Chemicals - check expiry dates. TB disinfectant and CS20 disinfectants have expired - do not use.
- VIM bottle labelled bleach - does not have bleach in it.
*** Follow directions on the label for the safe and proper use of all chemicals. Label should accurately show what is in the bottle. Use chemicals in well ventilated areas.
- Note: The floor is laminate flooring and is becoming worn. Maintain surfaces in good condition - ok for now.
