Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance with the exception of the away play area.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

During this inspection, there were 2 staff and no children present. There are currently 13 children enrolled and today they were at the away play area. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. Licensing reviewed fire drill records, attendance records and staff records. COVID-19 audit was completed on Dec. 10, 2020. The contents of this report was discussed with the manager and emailed on Feb. 2, 2021.
