- Operator has installed a stainless steel panel over counter to cover the hole that the previous owners made. This part of the counter where the styrofoam used to be is now smooth and washable.

- Operator had brought a live fish tank on site and was inquiring about adding live fish processing/sales to the premises. Live tank would be located across the hand wash station in the front service area, by the entrance to the back processing area. Operator said that the live fish would be taken to the existing back processing area to be processed. Referred operator to the BCCDC Guideline for Live Retail Fish Holding Systems. Operator to ensure proposed operation complies with the guideline requirements. Operator to submit a food safety and sanitation plan as well as floor plans (identify the new proposed tank location) for review. Please include picture/tank specifications at part of application. Once the submitted documents have been reviewed and determined to be satisfactory, an inspection will be conducted to grant health approval for live tank holding.
- There is to be no changes to the operation (ie. layout, foods..etc) until health approval is granted. The premises is currently approved to process (ie. cut) various types of non live seafood and non sushi grade fish. All other foods for retail sale are to be prepackaged from approved sources. There is to be no processing or repackaging of any other foods. There is to be no live fish processing or live tank sales at this time.
