Observation: Sandwich cooler measured 11 C to 14 C in multiple locations and with IR gun and proble thermometer. Reviewed temp logs from today at 7 AM and indicated 3.5 C. Checked multiple times during inspection. Discussion with operator that unit due for replacement.
Corrective Action(s): Remove all potentially hazardous foods from this unit until it can consistantly maintain food at 4 C or less (at all times). Re-inspection required prior to use.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Significant drain fly infestation continues to exist at this premises. Most significant accumulations observed around dish sink and grease trap areas, but flies observed on all surfaces in back storage room including around beverage syrups station.
Corrective Action(s): Have Pest Control company investigate and provide detailed action plan to eliminate the drain flies from this premises. Action plan must include all areas of premises including floor drains, mop sink area, dish sink area/grease trap and iced beverage stations. Action plan to be submitted to this office within 10 business days. Corrective action to be completed within 30 days. Supply pictures of completed work to this office.

Observation: Requested work in storage room with dish sinks and back storage area not re-organized as per previous inspection. This was an expectation for renovations performed.
Corrective Action(s): Re-organize, clean up and re-finish unpainted stoarge surfaces as required from previous inspection reports. This work must be completed within 30 days of inspection.

Discussed outstanding and ongoing issues related to drain fly infestation, sandwich cooling unit and general organizational issues in premises with operator. Operator to supply action plan for facility. Email pictures and status updates.

Hot holding units above 60 C
cooling units (excluding sandwich cooler) all below 4 C.
Handwash station in front area installed and equipped with liquid soap and paper towels.
Did not review dishwashing due to difficulty accessed space because of upright freezer location. Must be moved.
Took pictures of key potential breeding areas in facility except behind iced beverage stations. Ensure this area is reviewed for follow up inspection date noted on report.
