Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated December 14, 2022 there were two children and the Manager present. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility. There were no contraventions identified during this inspection.
The following was discussed with the Manager:
Care plan for children requiring additional support
Manager asked the routine inspection report and risk assessment to be emailed to her as she was going to the drop children off to school. The inspection report was written off-site – details were reviewed with the Manager prior to writing the report. A copy of the routine inspection report and risk assessment sent to manager via email on December 14, 2022.
