Comments

5210 information package was discussed and provided today. The Active Play Standards were discussed and the upcoming policies that will be required for screen time and active play.

There were a wide variety of developmentally appropriate materials available including puzzles, books, a train table, dramatic play (kitchen area, dolls) and many manipulative and block materials. The licensee was seen to provide a healthy snack for the children, engage in positive interactions "ok, come here please", "haha", "should we clean up and then listen to a story", listen to the children's requests and respond politely. Upon arrival the children had just finished an art activity and were seen to play with toys, interact socially with one another, use please and thank you, laugh and get excited about story time. Story time was interactive, social and educational.

Thank you for your assistance with this inspection today.
