304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Multiple black ants approximately one centimetre in length observed in dry storage room (approximately five to ten ants observed). Due to dispersed/random distribution, unable to identify point of entry at time of inspection. Note: Dry storage room contains prepackaged food only. Majority of food is stored in bins or similar containers with tight fitting lids. No signs of ants within containers and no damage observed to food product packaging.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure effective measures are taken to limit the pest population. Pests may potentially damage and/or contaminate foods. Ensure potenital entry points are sealed and contact a licensed pest control operator if pest problem persists. Continue to ensure foods are stored in a manner that protects from potential contamination (now and ongoing). Date to be corrected by: March 6, 2020.

Observation: Small gap observed at junction of door sill and south side jamb. Weather stripping appears to be torn / missing in this location.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure gap is properly sealed in order to limit potential entry of pests, including ants. Date to be corrected by: February 17, 2020.

Hot holding (soup) at 60 degrees C.

Hand washing station is unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels
Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer is available in a labeled spray bottle at 200 ppm
High temperature dishwasher measured 75 degrees C at the utensil surface during the final rinse (minimum required: 71 degrees C at the utensil surface).
Temperature logs maintained. A probe thermometer is available on site for internal temperature checks.
