Observation: Dishwasher not operational. Discussed with staff and has not been working for greater than 5 months. Only two compartment sink available for manual dishwashing. Not an acceptable long-term solution for dishwashing and not as approved for operation. Staff are not following allowable two-compartment sink dishwashing procedures. Rinsing and sanitizing only with no, or improper dishwashing step.
Corrective Action(s): Unit must be repaired or replaced. Long standing issue with this unit places premises at risk. Correct by re-inspection date noted on report.

Observation: A) Lighting in walk-in cooler inadequate. Refer to Canadian Food Code (2016) for guidance.
Corrective Action(s): A) Replace lights in all areas of premises that do not meet or exceed Canadian Food Code (2016) within thirty days of this inspection. A second re-inspection will take place in 30 days and light meter will be used to confirm compliance.

Observation: Neither staff on-site have foodsafe or equivalent. This is requied.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure staff are adequately trained on Foodsafe level 1 or equivalent within 30 days. On-line courses are available. Email confirmation of completed class or an assurance that trained staff will be on-site at all times as required.

Comments

Two sink method of dishwashing signs left for posting and for staff to follow.
Quats measured at 400 ppm in dishsink.
No staff on site have Foodsafe or equivalent.
Walls in back of premises and at drive through continue to deteriorate. Inspection report dated August 27, 2021 identified issues. Back part of the facility needs construction improvements to bring to standards originally approved by this office. Please update with plan.
Dishwasher has long standing issue of being problematic. Long-term solution required to continue operating.
