Follow up inspection:
-Two drain plugs were available at the 2-compartment sink. Make sure all food contact surfaces are washed, rinsed, sanitized, and air dried.
-Person in charge on shift related to the Operator stated that they plan to install a 3-compartment sink rather than repairing the dishwasher, have contacted a plumber, and require 10 days to have a plumber install it. Only single-service utensils are used on-site.
The following is outstanding and requires correction:
1. Provide a specification sheet on the 3-compartment sink (including the size specification and drain-boards attached) by February 8, 2019 to the district Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health.
2. Install a 3-compartment sink with drain boards attached by February 15, 2019 to replace the existing 2-compartment sink. Each compartment of the 3-compartment sink must be large enough to fully immerse the largest equipment that is used on-site and that is to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized in it.
3. Install a longer air drying shelving unit that is made of easy to clean, impermeable, smooth, non-toxic, and durable materials by February 15, 2019.
4. Provide copies of FOODSAFE certificate(s) for staff members who work on shift in the Operator's absence to the district Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health; Correct by February 28, 2019.
Please contact the district Environmental Health Officer if you have any questions (business card was provided). |
