Food Safe - Operator has valid Food Safe certificate. Staff have all renewed certificates and these are on site - good.
Food Safety and Sanitation Plans - are available in kitchen. Posters given.
Coolers in kitchen are below 4 C. Staff cooler - good temperature is at 4 C. Temperature records are being kept.
Soup - operator advises that soups are cooked and then cooled using a cold water bath to quickly cool before storing in cooler - good.
Food storage, organization and sanitation - good!
Hand washing sink has hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels in dispenser.
Dry storage room and freezers - good.
12 residents.
Dishwasher - has an NSF rating and "sanitizing" cycle is used for each load.
Bleach is available. Reviewed procedures (1/2 tsp bleach in 1 litre of water provides 100 ppm chlorine to sanitize.
