Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No bleach sanitizer prepared at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure bleach at 100ppm to 200ppm is prepared and ready for use to allow for proper sanitizing of food contact surfaces. Bleach at 200ppm was made at the time of inspection.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash station was blocked by a pan at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure handwash station is easily accessible at all times to allow staff to properly wash their hands. Pan was removed at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezer was at -18C.
-Back upright freezer was at -20C.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 50ppm to 100ppm chlorine sanitizer (minimum 50ppm required for proper sanitizing). Facility is currently using 12% commercial bleach. Facility can switch to another form of bleach, as long as the final rinse has 50ppm chlorine.
-Chemicals properly labelled.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the floor and covered. Raw meats stored below ready-to-eat foods.
-Ice machine was clean and sanitary.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary.
-Operator FoodSafe Level 1 valid until 2023.
