Observation: REPEAT OBSERVATIONS;
-countertops and cupboards are worn or missing pieces/parts.
-countertop to wall joint at sink requires recaulking
-wall corner into dry storage room requires stainless steel protector (chipping from bumps and scrapes)
-various equipment "repaired" with tape: dishwasher detergent compartment, handle for fridge, various flooring joints,
tape and broken countertops and walls absorb water and can build up debris. this is not easily cleaned or sanitized. Use of tape in for "repair" in kitchens not permitted
Corrective Action(s): General facility replacement required. premises must be maintained in good working condition.
ensure that floor plans are submitted to health department for review and approval prior to starting renovations.

=kitchen freezer (-18C), kitchen chest freezer (-20C), and downstairs freezers (-27C, -20C, -19C and -20C) measured < -18 degrees C. One chest freezer labelled "bread only" measured 10C. do not use this for storage of potentially hazardous foods
=Sanitizer solution at >400 ppm QUATS in spray bottles, obtain test strips and follow manufacturer's mixing instructions to ensure QUATS solution is 200 ppm QUATS
=Bleach sanitizer solution at >400 ppm chlorine in spray bottles, obtain test strips and mix only 1 tsp bleach with 1 liter of water to ensure solution is 100 ppm chlorine
=General food storage practices satisfactory at the time of inspection. Foods properly stored off the floor and covered and raw meats stored below ready-to-eat foods.
=No evidence of pest activity noted at the time of inspection
