Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sale of bulk almonds and cardamom - product is placed in a open table without any barrier between the food and customer.
Corrective Action(s): Bulk foods (with the exception of whole produce or wrapped foods) must be dispensed in a way that protects it from contamination. Place product in food grade bins with lids with a designated spot for bags and scoops.
Until proper equipment is obtained, do not sell bulk product. Prepackaged product is allowed.
Staff removed bulk product from retail area.

Freezer at -18 C or below.
2 compartment sink is used for washing hands, washing produce and sanitizing scoops. Ensure sink is sanitized between the different uses.
General sanitizer formula: 1/2 tsp unscented household bleach per litre of warm water.
Random products checked and they are within their best before dates.
**Do not sell bulging cans. Two cans of nitro pepsi removed off the shelf.
**A few flies noticed in the back area - operator indicated they are aware and are having pest control company address them at their next visit.
