Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Manual vegetable slicer was found to have food on the blades after cleaning and sanitizing.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure slicer is properly cleaned and sanitized after each use to prevent potential contamination of foods. Slicer was washed and sanitized at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -19C.
-Both sandwich coolers were at 4C.
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Front displace cooler was at 3C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C.
-Meatballs are reheated in the microwave and were greater than 71C.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded twice daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Sink plugs present and Quats sanitizer was tested at 200ppm.
-Sanitizer spray bottle was labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until June 20, 2024.

COVID-19:
-COVID-19 information posted at the by the sandwich prep area.
-Facility has resumed dine-in service. Seating capacity posted on the front door.
-Two tables are setup for dining service. Less than 6 patrons per table, and tables are physically distanced by at least 2 metres.
-Self-service beverage dispenser had hand sanitizer by the dispense. Signage posted to remind customers to sanitize hands prior to use and sticker on floor placed to remind customers to physically distance. Self-service dispenser disinfected after every 1 or 2 customers.
