Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated July 7, 2021, there were three children and one staff present. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility.

The following were discussed with the manager:
· Creating a policy on the use and active supervision of the outdoor swimming pool.

The following resources were provided and discussed:
· Bulletin-Water Safety (via email)
· Bulletin- Summer Safety
· Bulletin-Field Trips
· LO business card

The inspection report was written off-site – details were reviewed with the Manager prior to writing the report. A copy of the routine inspection report and risk assessment sent to manager via email onJuly 7, 2021. Total time includes writing report in office.
