Observation: Multiple Violations:
1) Sink plug malfunctioning. Two compartment sink, south sink has malfunctioning sink plug
2) One door stand up cooler in storage room is malfunctioning and has work order for item
3) Two door stand up cooler unit in main kitchen is malfunctioning. Lowest temperature observed is 8 degrees Celsius
4) Some surfaces have peeled away from counters/cupboards exposing interior plywood structure

Comments

Facility will be once again operating kitchen after 2 years of having temporarily Closed the kitchen due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Reinstating Permit to Operate after temporary Closure due to COVID-19 Pandemic.

Permit fees have been paid in full (see file for confirmation email). Reopening the preexisting facility. No structural/equipment changes or modifications. No floorplan on file however according to staff no changes have been made to facility. No food preparation occurring at this time. Facility needs to hire Chef.

No objections. HEALTH APPROVAL TO OPERATE GRANTED.

COMMENTS:
- Facility in EXCELLENT sanitary condition
- No evidence of pests
- Pest control program in place
- Handsinks adequately supplied
- Freezers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to -18 degrees Celsius
- Two door under counter cooler unit at temperatures of less than or equal to 4 degrees Celsius
- Hot Holding achieving temperatures of greater than or equal to 60 degrees Celsius
- Dishwasher achieving final sanitizing rinse of greater than or equal to 72 (74.6) Degrees Celsius ppm at the dish
- Sanitizer solution in use throughout food preparation areas is ECOPURE EP 50 - Hydrogen peroxide
- Back door closed during inspection and is tight fitting
- Light covers in place
- Cooler handles and seals in good sanitary condition


NOTE: Ensure FoodSafe Certified staff present during operation of the facility
NOTE: Ensure testing strips available for staff to test the dispensing unit of the ECOPURE EP 50 Hydrogen Peroxide that is dispensed to ensure appropriate dispensing is occurring.
