Observation: Salted eggs, that are sold individually, are not packaged and contain no information about the supplier. Staff on site did not have any proof of purchase available at the time of inspection. She mentioned that her mother handles the purchases and will be able to provide invoices.
Corrective Action(s): Email proof of purchase and vendor information for salted eggs to the inspector. Date to be corrected by: August 4, 2021

Observation: Carboard boxes were cluttered around the back door of the facility. Some were recently delivered boxes, and some were old empty boxes.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the excess carboard boxes from the premises as they can harbour pests. Date to be corrected by: August 4, 2021

Observation: One of the two upright coolers were measured to have an ambient temperature of 8C. There were no potentially hazardous foods kept in the cooler.

Routine inspection of the food store conducted.

General sanitation satisfactory.
Washroom sink was equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and disposable paper towels.
No signs of pest activity noted at the time of inspection.
Chest freezers were at or below -18C.
Upright cooler was at 4C.
Randomly selected food items were within their best before dates.
