Air conditioners have been properly secured
Sign in/ out sheets are being completed throughout the day in all 3 rooms
All staff ECE & ECEA qualifications have been verified on the ECE Registrar website
Staff have conducted their annual full evacuation drill
3-5 staff state that if they use the covered deck for play, they now use the back staircase to access it.
Licensee has written an "Active Play" and "Screen Use" policy for staff and posted a "Fact Sheet" regarding the DoLSOP "Active Play" and "Screen Use" policies for parents to review.
Licensing recommends that a facility specific "Active Play" and "Screen Use" policy be added to the parent handbook, or be made available for parents to review as it would be clearer for parents to understand how these policies are being implemented at this facility.
