Change name has occurred in the facility - from Academics Pre-kindergarten to Redwood Early childhood Education
Provided health application for approval form at time of visit. No change in ownership.
Upright cooler was at 4 C. Thermometer available.
Dishwasher had 100 ppm chlorine residual (test strip available).
Bleach sanitizer spray available at 200 ppm.
Food handler has valid Foodsafe 1 certification.
Temperature log was available and missing a couple of days. Ensure to keep log up to date.
Weekly menu - need to confirm food safety plan with food handler.
A staff went inside the kitchen and with bare hands grabbed cinnamon buns and placed on a plate. Asked if they were for the children, confirmed yes.
Ensure staff washes hands prior to handling food and or use utensils. Post sign in the kitchen reminding staff to wash hands.
Cleaning schedule to be in place. Document to be available onsite for inspection.
Complete and submit application for change of name.
Sponge and brush found siting inside 2 comp-sink. Remove sponge and store brush in sanitizing solution.
Organize cooler so that all ready to eat (cooked food items) are stored on the first two shelves.
Note: provided signage to be posted in the kitchen area (hand washing and ware washing).
