Observation: Food was found stored on the floor under shelves in preparation area (ie. ginger and dry storage).
Corrective Action(s): All foods must be stored at least 6inches off the floor and in bins/containers with lids.

Also label all food item containers.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Pest infestation found during time of inspection. Traps were found in kitchen facility.
Corrective Action(s): A professional pest control company must be hired to eliminate and manage all pest infestations. Operator called pest control company during time of inspection.

Pest control company must do a thorough inspection of facility and provide a full report. Report must be sent to Environmental Health Officer as soon as possible.

Comments

Routine inspection.
Handwashing stations are equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
Insert cooler at 4c.
Standup cooler at 3c.
Front dining area coolers at 4c or less.
Standup freezer at -18c.
Hot holding for rice found at 67c.
Dry storage items were being stored separate from chemicals.
Bleach water sanitizer found at 100ppm concentration in bucket.
Remember: Store all rags in the sanitizer, not on the counters.
Dishwasher reached 100ppm concentration.
Overall cleaning throughout facility is satisfactory, However the following areas require more thorough cleaning: Standup cooler shelves, under the shelves and freezer.
Lighting is sufficient and in good working order.
Ventilation hoods are clean and in good sanitary condition.
Handwashing stations in washroom facilities are equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
