Observation: 3 opened cans of toppings were present inside the undercounter prep cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Do not use opened cans, as the cans can rust or leech substances into the toppings. Always transfer the cans to a food-grade container with a lid.

Routine inspection conducted for bubble tea facility. Premise is maintained in excellent sanitary condition. The following observations were made at time of inspection:

1. Temperatures
- Undercounter coolers and topping prep coolers maintained at 4C or less
- Freezer unit at -18C
- Cooler and freezer units stocked with accurate thermometers
- Units are equipped with accurate thermometers
- Temperature logs well maintained and up-to-date

2. Hygiene and Sanitizing
- Hand wash station adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels
- Spray sanitizer measures at 200 ppm QUATS. QUATS test strips available
- 3-compartment sink equipped with drain plugs. Operator demonstrated how to prepare a sanitizing compartment with 200 ppm QUATS (manually diluted according to manufacturer's directions)
- Can opener, bowls, cutting boards, waffle maker, and dough mixer maintained in excellent sanitary condition
- Interior of ice machine maintained in excellent sanitary condition
- Household bleach stored underneath the 3-compartment sink is used for cleaning the floor afterwards

3. Storage
- Tea is pre-brewed and stored inside dispensing vats. Milk teas are not pre-made
- Products covered when not in use
- Organization of facility is good
- Only single-use disposable containers are provided to customers for beverages / waffles

4. Pests
- No signs of recent, visible pest activity noted at time of inspection
- Junctions between floor and piping are sealed

5. Administrative
- Operator is FoodSafe 1 certified
- Permit posted and up-to-date

6. The following also require your attention:
- Please remove the cans of paint stored in the corner of your dry storage room and any items not required for day-to-day operations
- Store containers of syrups in your kitchen at least 6" off the floor
