Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated April 23, 2019 there were 15 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The following education/recommendations were provided: Active Supervision Lead in the Water The following resources were provided: Reportable Incident Bulletin The licensing officer and licensee discussed care plans and ensuring that they are reviewed on a yearly basis with the parent and any person requested by the parent Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
