*Note: Discussed elevated temperature of herb paste products in display cooler of the produce section of the supermarket. The herb paste products are held on wire display racks, elevated above the refrigerator shelf. These products currently have surface temperatures ranging from 8 to 12 degrees Celsius. The labelling on the products indicate "Keep Refrigerated". If these are potentially-hazardous foods, please remove them from sale if they have been held at elevated temperatures for a period exceeding 4 hours. If the foods are not potentially-hazardous (ie. the "keep refrigerated" label is for food-quality reasons only), it's recommended to change the storage method to ensure they are held below 4 degrees Celsius.
