HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 6
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The two front handwash stations (beside cash registers) had removed their paper towels/soap. The supervisor indicated that these stations were being designated as coffee dumping sinks.
Corrective Action(s): Do NOT remove the paper towels and soap from these handwash stations. When the kitchen was built/approved, it was done with all of the designated handwash stations currently in place. You can still use these to dump coffee in (do not keep coffee pots/urns inside the sink) but it must also be available as a handwash station so that employees have access to them if they need it.

Staff re-stocked these sinks with paper towels and liquid soap.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
104 - Permit not posted in a conspicuous location [s. 8(7)]
Observation: Operator unable to locate permit
Corrective Action(s): Permit replacement form provided to operator. Ensure to fill out and get replacement permit ASAP.
Correct by: Immediately.
Violation Score: 1

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
Comments

Hot running water is now available at ALL sinks and not just some
3 of the 4 handsinks in the front area are no longer obstructed/blocked; Panini grill is still blocking one of the handstations as there is currently no other room for it. Discussed with supervisor on site who said they will be building shelving/re-arranging this area such that the sink is no longer blocked. In the meantime, staff are using the handwash sink located directly across the one blocked by the grill.
