Observation: Flies noted in kitchen and back storage room.
Corrective Action(s): Obtain sticky fly traps and consider installing screen on the front door if it is alwasy kept open during the summer. Assistant Manager informed that they just ran out of sticky fly traps. Obtain new traps by tomorrow and do not hang over food or food prep areas.

Observation: Stand up fridge has some debris, possibly mould, on the wire racks. Food stored in unit is covered.
Corrective Action(s): Clean stand up fridge wire racks. Correct within one week.

311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: 1. Staff washroom fully equipped for handwashing but paper towel roll on counter.
2. Caulking behind hanksink is breaking, there are gaps missing, and it is dirty.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Obtain paper towel holder to ensure that the washroom is always equipped with paper towel and to encourage proper handwashing. Correct within one week.
2. Replace caulking behind handsink. Correct within one week.

-back door closed at time of inspection, screen door has been installed
-lights in storage area have been installed
-coolers at 4C or less
-freezers at -18C or less

*temperature logs are in use but some days are missing, including recent Fridays and Saturdays - any day that you are open temperature logs must be kept to ensure that units are working properly to keep food safe
