Follow-up inspection to routine conducted on March 29, 2019. The following observations were made: Back storage area has been de-cluttered. Rodent droppings have been removed. Operator states that pest control company will be arriving in 1 month - ensure that you discuss with the pest control company regarding continued monitoring procedures. If any holes have been observed Operator has decided to place an empty crate underneath milk products so that they are elevated off the floor NOTE: Some new rodent droppings observed near the edge of the window area of the storage room. Remove remaining droppings from facility after thoroughly sanitizing area with 1 part bleach, 9 parts water solution NOTE: Operator has also reached out to BCCDC Food Protection for clarification regarding dairy licensing requirements, as there is currently minor distribution of gelato product outside the premise.
