Observation: Rodent droppings found in the following areas:

-On one shelf near the dish pit.
- In the seating area of the restaurant, behind the chest freezer, on top of & beside the storage container.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Have a professional pest control come to the restaurant and provide the report to Fraser Health.
2) Check for and seal all rodent entry points in the restaurant.
3) Remove the storage container.

Observation: Keep food in the back storage room in a sealed, pest proof container.

Observation: Heavy grease buildup in the following areas:
-On the skewer grill.
-Underneath equipment on the cook line.
-Underneath equipment in the dish pit

Clean all rodent droppings, as noted in code 304.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that hard to reach areas are cleaned regularly to remove grease buildup.
Clean within one week.

403 - Employee lacks good personal hygiene, clean clothing and hair control [s. 21(1)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cook was not wearing a shirt at the start of the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Corrected. To prevent sweat/ hair from being introduced to food, staff must be wearing proper clothing in the kitchen. Discussed adding fans to the kitchen as well to control the temperature.

Hand sinks were supplied with hot and cold water, soap and paper towels.
All coolers were < 4 C.
All freezers were < -18 C.
Hot held foods were > 60 C.
The dishwasher had 100 ppm chlorine. Test strips available.
Bleach sanitizer was tested at 100 ppm.
