Comments

Inspection result of a customer complaint about severe rat infestation behind the store (North and West sides).
Witnessed over 100 rat burrows behind the store in the landscaped areas. Took pictures.
Noticed a number of rat droppings near the organic compacter.
Trench drains underneath compacters full of organic debris and water is easily accessible to rats.
The above situation points to severe rodent harborage/infestation which needs to be addressed and rectified immediately.

The following actions must be taken immediately.
1. Steps must be taken to destroy Rat harborage (burrows) in the landscaped areas. Consult a licensed pest control professional for best approach.
2. Ensure to cover all drainage trenches with fine wire mesh to prevent water access to rodents.
3. Clean all the trenches near compacters to remove all organic matter and debris.
4. The cemented area around compacters must be pressure washed regularly to clean the organic debris.
5. More rodent baiting stations required around the building the perimeter.
6. Remove any fallen cherries on the ground on the Eastern corner of the back parking lot.
7. Arrange for a special inspection from the pest control provider to improve rodent monitoring and control efforts.

Failure to take proper actions may result in further enforcement action.
A follow up inspection will be conducted to ensure compliance.
