Comments

Routine inspection conducted. No food processing occurs in the food store. The following observations were made:

1. Temperatures
Display coolers measured at 4C or less
Walk-in coolers, produce cooler, dairy coolers at 4C or less
Rear walk-in freezers at -18C or below
Open display freezer units measured from -15C to -18C
Digital system for temperature monitoring is in place. Manager will be commencing manual logging, in addition to digital logging, shortly (update the Environmental Health Officer when this occurs)

2. General hygiene
Hand wash station at produce area stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels
3-compartment sink sanitizer dispenses at a concentration of 200 ppm QUATS

3. Storage
Food products generally stored at least 6" off the floor
Items stocked along aisle were in good sanitary condition. No dented cans noted at time of inspection
Bulk storage bins are fitted with a disposable liner, discarded after each use

4. Pest Control
No recent, visible signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection
Mechanical traps in produce and delivery areas did not contain any rodents at time of inspection
