Processing area: Hand wash stations equipped with liquid soap and paper towels. Ware washing station for utensils, buckets and mats available (chlorine used as sanitizer). Chlorine sanitizer solution was >100 ppm. Work tables and chopping boards were made of materials that are non-porous, durable and easily cleaned. Pest control monitoring in place. Flooring in the processing area was re-surfaced (Sept. 2018). Packaging area was organized and all wooden benches and stands have been replaced with suitable design/material. Walk-in cooler was below 4 deg C. Walk-in freezer was below -18 deg C. Barn storage - organized and cleaned. Overall, facility was well maintained. Washrooms were provided with sanitary facilities. Laundry facility available for washing cloths, rags and aprons.
